Hearly works with any wired headphones (3.5mm or Lightning) and most Bluetooth headphones. For the lowest latency, we recommend wired headphones. AirPods and AirPods Pro work well, but may introduce slight audio delay due to Bluetooth.

No. Hearly is a personal sound amplification product (PSAP) and is not intended to diagnose, treat, or cure hearing loss. It is designed to amplify environmental sounds for people with normal to mild hearing difficulty. If you suspect hearing loss, please consult an audiologist.

Yes. Hearly continues to amplify sound when the app is in the background or your screen is locked. You can also control it from the Lock Screen via Live Activity (Premium feature).

Subscriptions are managed through Apple. Go to Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions on your iPhone, find Hearly, and tap "Cancel Subscription". You'll continue to have access until the end of your current billing period.

No. All audio processing happens entirely on your device. We never record, transmit, or store your audio on any server. Recordings you create are saved locally on your iPhone only. See our Privacy Policy for details.

The built-in hearing test plays tones at different frequencies and volumes to estimate your hearing profile. It is designed for personalization purposes and is not a clinical audiogram. Results are used to tailor the amplification to your needs. For accurate medical assessment, visit a professional.

Yes. Install Hearly on your new device, open the app, go to Settings, and tap "Restore Purchases". Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID used for the original purchase.

Hearly is optimized for iPhone. It is not available on iPad, Mac, or Apple Watch at this time. The app fully supports Dynamic Island (iPhone 14 Pro and later) for Live Activity controls.

Bluetooth headphones with AAC or SBC codec are supported. AirPods, AirPods Pro, and AirPods Max are fully compatible.
